Dear Steve，

I’m Li Hua, the leader of the Short Story Writing Club in our school.Knowing that you are interested in it,I’m writing to tell you some details about our club.

Our club provides a stage for the students who have a passion for writing short stories in English.In the beginning,few students go to it ,but now more and more students join us.There are many activities in the club.Every Friday afternoon from 4:30 to 5:30,we get together to read short stories in different styles and write short stories using different techniques.And we hold workshops to discuss the short stories that club members read and write the last Friday of each month. With the help of  our club adviser ,Maggie Zhang, we regularly invite professional writers to give talks on short story writing to help to improve  our short story writing skills .

I hope my introduction can help you better understand our club and we sincerely welcome you to be one of us.
